Good morning!

Tomorrow is the last day of May 2014 and as much as I hate to wish days away, I’m really looking forward to the fresh start of June.  Its not that May has been a good month, it has. I’ve just felt a little unorganized which makes me a little crazy. So this weekend, in addition to things around the house, I want to sit down, and try to get back on track.  We also are planning to cross something off my 101 list too!

So before we get to the weekend, here are my high fives for this week!

1. Last Saturday, I helped throw a shower for one of our good friends and her little Baby C! High five for friendship, brunch, stripes, and baby boy polos!

2. With the holiday weekend giving us a little extra time, we got to see both sides of our families, minus the ones that were out of town. High five for long weekends with family!

3. On Monday, Gary and I were going to run a 10k in Macon, but decided to visit his hometown instead.  So with that we woke up on Monday morning and did our own six mile run. It was a perfect time to think about all those that have given their lives for our freedom and pray for the families left behind.  High five for running, Memorial Day’s meaning, and the dog that accompanied the last two miles of the run!

4. During our trip home on Monday – the two year anniversary of our first date! – we stopped off at Lane’s and got ice cream and cheese straws, and then ate dinner once we got back to Augusta. High five for road trip fuel and first date memories!

5. This week we booked a place to stay for our one year anniversary trip in July! High five for upcoming adventures and celebrating one year of marriage!

Well hello there, long lost friends. This week has been filled with a party, baby shower prep, working, long naps, headaches, and laughter. So really, all good things, minus the headaches.

This weekend I’m looking forward to extra time with G, and celebrating our two year first-date-a-versary.  It’s crazy to think that it was only two years ago, we were just getting to know each other. What a happy two years it has been:)

Onto high fives…

1. Saturday night we had date night at one of our Augusta favorites, Takosushi. High five for the far east meeting the southwest!

2. This week I hosted a party at our house for some of our neighbors and friends from church. High five to having our home filled with people I love!

3. Speaking of that party, G made a surprise coffee run for me before it all started. High five to a handsome curbside Starbucks delivery!

4. My sister and brother-in-law made the announcement that they are expecting! High five to them and to everyone who is praying for them and this sweet gift from the Lord!

5. Yesterday I came home from work to find G in bed, so I did what any normal person would do. I decided to skip dinner prep and enjoy a three hour siesta. High five for long naps, breakfast for dinner and a husband that didn’t blink an eye to either.

Happy weekend!

This week was full of celebrating people I love.  Here we go…

1. First off, we celebrated these two firends at there wedding Saturday night.  Although we’ve only known them since December, we are so excited for them and their new adventure! High five to the Mr. & Mrs.!

2. Ahhh, Mother’s Day.  I was blessed with a wonderful Mama – and last July, I was blessed with another! High five to my sweet, kind, loving, funny Moms!

3.  This week I got to cross off one of my 101 in 1001 – pick strawberries! High five to my friend for inviting me on her adventure!

4. Next up, we celebrated this little party animal’s 35th birthday! High five to my sister Madie!

5. And today we celebrate another birthday – this time it’s a 31st! High five to my sister Jesssssie!
