Good morning from Martinez, Georgia!

It’s gloomy and supposed to rain today – but that’s not raining on my Friday parade… here’s this week’s high fives.

1. I finally used my KitchenAid Mixer – and so far its been super easy! High five for facing my fear of small kitchen appliances!

2. It happened at the end of January but since I wrote about becoming debt free this week, I feel like I’m reliving all the excitement over again.  Yay, high five for being DEBT FREE!

3. This week I got a little bit more organized – and gained alot more space. High five for an organized DVD storage!

4. Last night, we finished our 2013 taxes. {#GrownUps} High five for getting them done early, our new “married” status, and getting a tax return!

5. Today I get to meet up with of my sweet friends from college. High five for being in a city that let’s me reconnect with old friends!

Hello friends – and internet friends! Happy Friday!  I hope you’ve had a great first day of spring! Here’s my high fives!

1. Earlier this week I shared my pesto pasta bake recipe! High five for a recipe for being easy and delicious.  {also, you know what’s not so delicious? Two ingredient pancakes found on pinterest. Yuck.}

2. This week we invited some of our neighbors over for dinner! It was nice to be able to get to know some of them and welcome them into our home!

3. I finally reached the five mile mark in my Couch to 10K training! It feels good to be back at 5+ miles but I’d forgotten how bored I get on long {for me} runs.  It may be time to start listening to music.  On the positive, we’ve had some beautiful weather to make it a little more bearable!

 

4. March Madness is here and we’ve filled out our brackets! Fun fact: right now as I type its a commercial break for my favorite team, DUKE {who I am hopeful will bring home a championship} vs. Mercer {from my hometown}.  Macon, Georgia representing!

5.  Two weeks ago we were in St. Augustine and last week our burner in our stove was out, so tonight we’re getting back to our favorite Friday tradition tonight – homemade pizza and a movie!

Has it REALLY been a week since our weekend trip to Florida?  Sometimes I don’t know how weeks go by fast.  

1. High five to the barista at Milledgeville’s Blackbird Coffee who recommended a dirty chai {chai latte + shot of espresso}. You made our drive home on Sunday much better. 

2. High five to Ben, Jerry, and Gary for making The Bachelor finale enjoyable.

3. High five to my nephews and nieces – who should be receiving their Rainbow Seeds in the mail this weekend!

4. High five for new pillows, baskets, decor, and organization I picked up this morning! Augusta, you sure are good when it comes to places to shop!

5. And last but certainly not least, a big high five to my hard-working husband, who worked overtime every day this week and had mid-terms last week! Proud of you and all you do!
