High Five for Friday

high five for friday

1. Our weekend in Macon was wonderful and we got to see both of our parents, my older brother and three of my sisters, 9 out of 10 nieces and nephews, and some good friends from my home church!  High five for a weekend with people we love!

2. After getting back to Augusta, we had a Mada team meeting, our last meal, and last Starbucks run before we started our 24 day cleanse. High five for 4 days strong!
3. This week I finally blogged about our mini getaway back in February!  High five for reliving that trip and all of its memories through pictures!
4. I finally found not one, but TWO sets of curtains I like for our living room. Now just to make a decision. High five for having options!
5. If you listened closely around 4:30pm yesterday, you probably could have heard happy tears falling from my husband’s eyes when he watched the new Star Wars trailer with his friend Will. High five for being here to watch them enjoy a one minute trailer like two boys on Christmas morning!

High Five for Friday

high five for friday

Whew! These past couple of weeks have been full. Last week marked one full year at my job! I’m so grateful {and overwhelmed} that the Lord provided it a year ago. To be able to do something I love but also allows me to serve our church makes my heart so, so happy. {I could keep going but I’ll save that for another post:)}

So all that goodness aside, here are my high fives for this week!

1. Our church met with another church for Easter Sunday. High five for a day of celebrating with other believers!  2. It’s Masters Week and I’ve actually become interested in what’s going on {who am I?}. High five to living in such a special city! 3. This week I got to spend time with friends from church as we celebrated a birthdays. High five for community that is made up of so many different backgrounds!  4. Last week we checked off on our Mada shots and we’ve been taking our typhoid vaccine this week. High five for no shots and a less expensive bill!

5. G and I are spending a quick weekend in Macon with part of my family and his parents will come up on Sunday! High five for family visits!

Happy weekend to you!

3. On Sunday I snuck away to Gainesville for the afternoon to see my college roommate and her newest little. High five for time with my favorite college McRooms!

4. This week G moved some shelves and hung some curtains that have been on my to-do list. High five for marrying someone who is always willing to help me make our house a home!
5. After one to many breaks from the book, I finally finished Unbroken. High five for a new favorite!
