I know that since we dated and were engaged long distance you never had to put up with my whining when I was sick.  Instead, it was just weekends-o-fun and skype dates.  

But I have to say, these past few days, you’ve been a great nurse.  You take care of me, watch endless episodes of Downton Abbey with me, let me rest on you when I feel like I’m going to die in Walmart, and clean the dishes when I don’t think I’ll be able to stand.  

And my favorite thing about you? You always find ways to make me smile or laugh – even when I feel like crying.  

I’m so glad I get to be married to you.
