Monthly Goals

september 2014 goals

It’s hard to believe we are two-thirds of the way through 2014!  Time sure isn’t slowing down, so I’m finding that goals are helpful for me staying on track of things I want to try, complete, or be more intentional about.

Here’s how I did for August

  • take a sewing classcheck! Hopefully will take class #2 this month!

  • sew table skirt – Crossing my fingers that with sewing class #2, this one will happen!
  • check in on the MyFitnessPal and Envelope apps everyday – My Fitness Pal, yes; Envelope, no, although I did update more regularly, so progress 🙂 Still learning alot through MFP
  • complete two sets of invites – first set went out last week, second set was finished about 5 hours ago… whew!
  • go kayaking – hopefully we’ll get to go this month; our schedules have been pretty full on the weekends
  • research Whole30 and Trim Healthy Mama – a sweet friend from church let me borrow her THM book and I’ve been reading online about Whole30
  • start searching for a new headboard and bed frame – the search for the mattress went so well that we bought one! still on the search for a bed!

  • host a shower
  • start planning another shower for October
  • stay on top of reading for our Home Group and monthly reading
  • clear closet/dresser and take clothes to donate
  • finish map project
  • list miscellaneous items online
  • go kayaking
  • complete planks everyday
  • complete 70 miles {about 40m of running and 30m of walking}
  • practice THM or Whole30 eating plans for one week
  • take a weeklong social media break
  • finish setting up guest room/office

What are your September goals?

  1. Great lists. Well done I like the idea of a monthly list as it breaks the huge 101 list down. Your fitness goals are inspiring and so is the social media break. If I did a social media break a lot more of my challenges would be done that’s for sure. good luck!
